Last week I took a day off work and explored the options for office chairs. My main goals were (1) to sit in Steelcase Gesture and Leap chairs and (2) to see a whole lot of used chairs. Here's where I went and what I found: Rework Furniture - 7550 Roosevelt Rd., Forest Park, IL: https://rework-furniture.com/ This was a spacious but not overwhelming store -- it felt about the size of Staples. They had a broad selection of chairs, both new and used. The used ones were in such good quality that I couldn't tell them apart from the new ones unless I looked at the tags. I didn't see any Steelcase chairs, but they did have quite a few of the Herman Miller Aerons. I had sat in an Aeron last year that was a C size, and it didn't feel that comfortable for me (6'3", 185 pounds). Hey all, was wondering if it was possible to buy a replacement Fern seat cushion foam Mine is 7 years old, feels kinda like it's bottomed out. After a day of rowing, I find it quite difficult to find much comfort and hard to avoid swamp ass in the summer. I got a purple cushion to mitigate, but now it seems the ergonomics of the seat have been negated and i get lower back pain. I have the lumbar attachment. Saw on the Youtubes today that Haworth updated the foam cushion for the Fern, my wife's less than a year old Fern feels fantastic!
