I just received my remanufactured Steelcase Leap V2 yesterday from Crandall and the cylinder isn't working. I ordered the "heavy" cylinder, and it has the uni-directional plastic cone at the top for the side lever height adjustment, but it's like the plastic cone is too far down in the cylinder casing and when the side lever pushes on the cone, the cone just runs into the inner edge of the cylinder itself and it doesn't trigger. I've seen this often reccomended and have made the change with a set I got off Amazon, I'm trying to decide if I need another set I've got wood floors and the castors in my old chair were starting to mark it slightly. These are a vast improvement but what has me thinking is that people say you can glide around in the rollerblade wheels bur when I push myself in a direction there is a strong resistance until the wheels align in that direction so have to push quite hard, and the bottom of the chair rotates as it moves.
